The article entitled “Testing environmental and social indicators for biorefineries: bioethanol and biochemical production” has been published in the International Journal of Life Cycle Assessment (Social LCA in progress).
The purpose of the article was to test indicators for assessing the environmental and social impacts of biorefineries, using the environmental and social LCA methodologies, respectively. This study was performed in the New Norwegian Biorefinery project (NNB) with the aim of generating knowledge on social indicators, in addition to environmental indicators, for lignocellulosic products based on a local biomass feedstock (the period of the project was 2013-2015)”.
