NORSUS at International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems: social challenges in the automated meat sector

Within the frames of International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS 2021)a RoBUTCHER workshop on challenges in automated meat processing was hold on October 1. The workshop illustrated the latest trends and developments concerned to food and food processing robotics, and to define the roadmap for future enhancements to these fields. Clara Valente presented the “Social aspects of robots and automation in the slaughterhouse”, addressing the potential social changes of increasing automation in the meat sector.
