Tobias is a researcher at NORSUS and works primarily on projects related to food. He has a particular interest in the environmental impact of meat production, especially regarding resource use and greenhouse gas emissions.

Tobias has a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), where he studied the management of natural resources such as fresh water, land are and minerals, and how human activity affects the environment and climate change. It was here that he first encountered NORSUS through an LCA course led by Hanne Lerche Raadal.

In his master's degree in Industrial Ecology at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), he acquired further knowledge of LCA methodology, as well as other analyses such as MFA and Input-Output analysis. With a strong desire to contribute to the development of solutions for a more sustainable society, Tobias started as a researcher at NORSUS in August 2025.
