Mehrdad is a senior researcher at NORSUS (since 2022), where he works with different disciplines of sustainability, including life cycle management (LCM), environmental life cycle assessment (E-LCA), social life cycle assessment (S-LCA), and environmental product declaration (EPD). His background is in Civil Engineering (B.Sc.), Environmental Engineering (M.Sc.), and Sustainability (Ph.D.). He has worked on different interdisciplinary management projects in the fields of building and construction, energy, waste, and water.
