Mafalda is a researcher and EPD Coordinator at NORSUS.

She holds an MSc in Environmental Engineering from Aveiro University (UA) and an MSc in Industrial Ecology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Her expertise covers a wide range of products and systems, primarily within E-LCA, including food products, renewable energy and energy distribution systems, waste treatment methods, building products, fishing methods, and industrial production processes.

She represents NORSUS on the EPD-Global Technical Committee, where she actively contributes to discussions on technical and LCA-related developments within the Norwegian program.

With a deep interest in all aspects of sustainability, Mafalda is focused on understanding how to advance more sustainable production methods and products.
