Mafalda is a researcher at NORSUS and she holds a MSc in Environmental Engineer-ing from University of Aveiro (Portugal). After finishing her studies, she worked with life cycle assessment of food products at University of Aveiro and at the Industrial Ecolo-gy program at NTNU. After a while at Industrial Ecology, she decided to focus on environmen-tal impact assessment methodologies and took a MSc in Industrial Ecology at NTNU.

After her studies at NTNU she worked as an LCA and ISO expert before she started work-ing at NORSUS, where she has been working with documentation of the environmental and resource efficiency of products and services based on LCA methodology. She works in different research fields, such as waste resources and recycling, renewable energy and food products.
