John is a senior researcher at NORSUS. He manages and participates in research projects across a range of sectors.

John is a chemical engineer and completed his doctorate in 1998 at the University of Surrey in the UK. He held a lectureship for several years before moving into researcher development and training

John joined NORSUS in 2012. His research focuses on environmental analysis of products and systems based on LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) methodology. Research areas include circular-economic processes such as recycling and reuse in sectors including waste electronics (WEEE), plastics and textiles, also transport logistics and consumer behaviour.

He has particular interest in data analysis, statistics, and the development of models and tools to support sustainability research and innovation.
