Irmeline is a researcher at NORSUS, where she started in 2018. She has a bachelor's degree in geog-raphy and a master's degree in industrial ecology, both from NTNU. One of the study semesters was taken at the Alberts-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg in Germany. Her master thesis was a life cycle analysis of household plastic and bioplastics management for the municipali-ty of Trondheim.

Irmeline has worked on documenting products’ environmental and resource profile based on LCA methodology. She has also worked with recycling, plastic pollution and sustainability.
