Ingunn is a senior researcher at NORSUS and participates in a range of research projects, both as project leader and project member, and with quality control.
She graduated in 1992 with an M.Sc. in mechanical engineering/thermal energy from the Norwegi-an University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
Ingunn joined NORSUS in 1993. Her work is connected to environmental optimising of resources in production and services, with a special focus on energy. She is involved with projects on biorefining (microfibrillated cellulose and use of wood for protein production), carbon capture and stora-ge, waste resources and recycling, biogas and water footprinting of hydropower. Ingunn is also responsible for the characterisation methods being used in our LCA software tool. During the first years at NORSUS she was involved with patenting of environmental technology, statistical analyses and evaluations.
