Hanne is a senior researcher at NORSUS and works on projects within food production, food waste and packaging, with a particular focus on life cycle assessments (LCA) of agricultural products. She has extensive experience in documenting environmental and resource efficiency, especially within livestock production and feed.

Hanne has a Master of Science in Agronomy from the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University (now part of the University of Copenhagen). She has a Dr. Philos. from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) in environmental and social sustainability in livestock production.

She has worked at NORSUS since 1992, with a shorter break, and has extensive experience as a project manager for research projects both nationally and internationally. Her work contributes to developing more sustainable food systems through research-based documentation and analysis.
