Fredrik is a research scientist at NORSUS. He has a high-er degree in chemical engineering from the Norwegian University of Technology and Science, and a lower degree in humanities from the University of Bergen. He holds a PhD in planning from Aal-borg University, based on the thesis ‘The development of a weighting method for use in life cycle assessments of amine based post-combustion carbon capture and storage (CCS) in the Arctic re-gion’.
Fredrik has been employed in his current position at NORSUS since 2014. In this time, he has been involved in the development and verification of several Environmen-tal Product Declarations (EPDs).
Research interests are, among many other things, monetiza-tion of environmental impacts, environmental Life cycle assessment (LCA), So-cial life cycle assessment (S-LCA), and cross-discipli-nary assessments that involve the environment, economy and other concerns, including Life cycle sustainability assessment (LCSA). He has conducted environmental evaluations of a long and diverse list of products and technologies.
